Wow. Went to a fantastic show last night at The Parlour Car, a brand new comedy showcase in East Village, which I think is going to be my new favorite. The lights, sound, comics... all top notch. Brian Babylon, the evenings headliner, freaking killed. It was standing room only by the time I got there, despite the fact it was practically a blizzard outside, so I can only imagine how bananas this spot is going to get once the weather gets nicer. Parlour car is every Thursday at Bar Deville, a classic bar in every since of the word with great drinks & friendly staff that was recently named among the "12 Best Cocktail Spots" in the city by Chicago Magazine.  Highly recommended.  Check it out when you get a chance.
