News From The Lincoln Lodge

The Lincoln Lodge, Chicago's longest running comedy showcase, (and one of the most recognized)
has announced open submissions for new cast members for the upcoming Lincoln Lodge season. They have also reached out and asked us to help spread the word to any comics that might not follow them on Facebook etc. So below we have posted the entire  submission letter complete with instructions on submitting and contact info.

Something else that should be on your radar thats hapening at The Lincoln Lodge is the Laughs For Lawrence fundraiser this Friday night.  Comedian and former Lincoln Lodge member Candy Lawrence, is producing a fundraiser show for her father, who unfortunately has been stricken with cancer, has been given six months to a year to live, and is facing extreme medical bills. A ton of top local comics have come out to support and donate their talents to this event. Definitely a great show for a great cause, get out there and support.

Laughs for Lawrence

Keith Henry Lawrence, the hardest working man you’ll ever know is still working hard fighting for his life. He was diagnosed with fourth stage small cell lung cancer one year ago. He was given six months to a year to live. He’s still alive and laughing. But, he’s constantly worried about money. He owes over $300,000 in medical bills. In short, I’m putting together this fundraiser so we can raise money to put his mind at ease so he can enjoy his life. Maybe buy him a lifetime supply of Dairy Queen. He loves ice cream.

There’s going to be a mix of stand-up, music (non stop Disney songs) and raffle prizes. Some prizes include: Four Saturday Night Live tickets, tickets to The Second City, an 8 week course at The Second City training Center and getting high and talking about squirrels with the Puterbaugh Sisterz.

Performers include:
Colleen Doyle & Dana Quercioli
Matteo Lane
Adam Burke
Natalie Jose
Bobby Minelli
Megan Gailey
Ted Tremper
Puterbaugh Sisters
Sean Flannery

Brought to you by Candy Lawrence

“He who laughs, lasts.”
