Hannibal Buress directs a music video...

Hannibal Buress (30 Rock, Saturday Night Live, Comedy Centeral), who is arguably becoming one of the best comedians Chicago has ever produced, hooked up with Austin Vesley to co-direct a new video ("NaNa") for Chance The Rapper. The whole project was bankrolled by Jash, the comedy video site founded by Sarah Silverman, Michael Cera, Tim and Eric and Reggie Watts.

How much? You might be asking. 5 Large. What?? Yep... Hannibal and company receive a check for $5,000 which they cash on camera. Shenanigans ensue. Funnier then you might think, scenes include dancing with bootleg superheroes, shots at the Laugh Factory, and a cameo with Childish Gambino. The only thing more surprising than the fact that this music video was produced on a shoestring budget is how much fu*king press it's gotten from mainstream/music sites like:

Stereogum
The Fader
Splitsider
Consequncesofsound
Chicagoist

Chicago Sun Times
